Seattle's Space Needle blasts off with LED light box
The Space Needle in Seattle has deployed LED light boxes to teach visitors about the history of the iconic landmark. DSA Phototech, a visual presentation solutions company, deployed 15 custom light boxes alongside Storyline Studio and Group Delphi, according to a press release. Storyline Studio designed the exhibit and Group Delphi handled the actual installation. DSA Phototech had to develop LED screens that could work in the building's curved interior that lacked straight lines or any right angles. "Building lightboxes that curved and tilted at the same time was definitely a challenge. We knew that we needed a team that could think innovatively and frankly, wasn't afraid of the challenge," Bill Smith, principal and founder at Storyline Studio, said in the release. "With DSA we just knew they were the right firm to handle the complexities of this project. This project would just not have been possible without DSA."
